An administrative law judge in Georgia ruled in favor of GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) on Friday, allowing her to remain on the ballot for the state’s 14th Congressional District race after state Democrats tried using the “disqualification clause” of the Fourteenth Amendment to ban her from running.

The Democrats who wanted to ensure Greene couldn’t run for office again used the January 6th debacle at the U.S. Capitol to attack her, claiming she took part in “an insurrection.”
During the capitol protest, MTG was actually inside the House Chamber acting as a member of Congress.
The group behind the attack is called, Free Speech For People, which is extremely ironic considering they’re triggered over MTG’s First Amendment-protected activities.
Judge Charles Beaudrot ruled in favor of Greene, saying her challengers “failed to prove their case by a preponderance of the evidence.”
According to Judge Beaudrot, the Democrats couldn’t prove Greene “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or [gave] aid or comfort to the enemies thereof under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.”
The judge’s decision is only a recommendation, and controversial Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger will have the final say when it comes to “allowing” Greene to run for office.
As conservative commentator Jack Posobiec noted, “The fact this was even heard in court is completely insane.”

It is a tremendous victory that the Left lost their attempt to prevent Marjorie Taylor Greene from running in future elections.
Unfortunately, it is not the Left that I fear in this case. Across the country, Republican Central Committees have been moving to ban certain individuals from running.
These cases have far more merit, and often result in said-candidates being unable to participate in future elections. To my knowledge this has already happened in Tennessee.
I have often said that attacks from RINO Republicans serve as a much larger threat threat to the restoration of American freedom than Democrat politicians.
In this case, I feel that theory has been vindicated. Marjorie Taylor Greene beat the left, but RINOS won silent victories in Ohio and Tennessee.
Knowing your enemy is half the battle. The most important half, I might add.
