President Trump appeared in Houston today to speak at the NRA Convention. This is his first speech since the Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

In a time of such sorrow for our nation, it is important to hear from the man who was truly elected to lead our Nation. Each time Joe Biden speaks, his fumbling and divisive speech simply drives Americans to turn off the television in anger.
Trump read the names of those who lost their lives in the tragic Uvalde shooting.
There has never been a time where the Second Amendment mattered more to our Nation. With a completely out of control federal government, along with this recent tragedy, there has never been a time where Americans needed to take more control of their self defense.
Our country was founded on the ability to keep and bear arms.
This speech took place while a rabid group of protestors gathered outside of the doors, demanding that guns be banned because of a failure of law enforcement in Uvalde.
Trump strongly condemned politicians like Joe Biden and Barack Obama for immediately blaming the gun lobby. Trump correctly points out that laws being proposed by Democrats would have done nothing to prevent the tragedy in Uvalde.
Trump called for increased mental health treatment.
