Starting July 1,2021 kids in Queen Anne’s County Public Schools will no longer be required to wear masks in schools.

Marc D. Schifanelli, Esq and the Board’s Vice President raised the issue and after appropriate discussion the Board of Education unanimously voted “down with the masks”. Masks will remain voluntary.

School hygiene, cleaning protocol and best practices will continue to remain in place.

Queen Anne’s County Public Schools have ongoing Summer School for all children K-12 5 days per week in order for the children to catch up on math and reading severely neglected during Covid-19 lock down and prior Board of Education’s reluctance to reopen the schools in the 2020 fall.
