Democrats have asked major cable providers to censor the American people. The left will not stop with their censorship until we take a hard stance against it. It isn’t just Project Freedom. Millions of people have had heir voices silenced over their political views. It needs to stop.
The left thinks that we are dumb, that they can play dirty pool and rig the game. They have succeeded up to this point. It is our job to make sure that they are unable to affect our lives, anymore than they already can. We must fight to ensure that the Government is relegated to a near powerless entity, as was intended.
In a recent email announcing their upcoming “Winter Workshop” The Maryland League of Woman Voters, a nonpartisan organization by their own account has made it their objective to address five legislative reforms regarding Police Accountability across the State of Maryland. An examination of their proposed reforms and the organizations that they are working with regarding this proposal clearly show a far-left Socialist Democrat agenda and should be very carefully considered by those members of the organization who count themselves as “moderate Democrats or Center Right Republicans. Let us examine what is being proposed….
Five Legislative Reforms for Police Accountability
LWVMD has joined the Maryland Coalition for Justice and Police Accountability along with 100 organizations calling for five changes to Maryland Law that would dramatically impact fairness in policing:
1) Allow investigations into all police misconduct to be disclosed under the Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA).
Let us begin by understanding the Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA). Here is what the Attorney General of Maryland says: The Maryland Public Information Act – The public’s right to information about government activities lies at the heart of a democratic government. Maryland’s Public Information Act (PIA) grants the people of this State a broad right of access to public records while protecting legitimate governmental interests and the privacy rights of individual citizens. Last time we checked police officers were citizens and deserve to have their privacy rights protected. In todays social media world an officer can be doxed, have his or her family threatened or intimidated before any conclusion regarding alleged misconduct can be determined… That’s just not how America is supposed to work and even our left leaning Maryland AG knows that.
2) Create statutory limits on the use of force by law enforcement.
The Congressional Research Office, a true nonpartisan government entity, provides relevant insight into this issue when it says…”… the Fourth Amendment protects the “right to be free from the use of excessive force in the course of an arrest.” At the same time, according to the Court, the lawful powers of a police officer “necessarily” include “the right to use some degree of physical coercion or threat thereof[.]” As a result, the permissibility of an officer’s use of force in a given situation is governed by an amorphous “reasonableness” standard, which “is not capable of precise definition or mechanical application.” Rather, the Court has said that assessing whether a use of force is “reasonable” requires balancing “the nature and quality of the intrusion on the individual’s Fourth Amendment interests against the importance of the governmental interests alleged to justify the intrusion,” which will depend on “the facts and circumstances of each particular case[.]” https://fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/LSB10516.pdf
So, we see that the courts cannot put a definition to the act of “reasonable force” so just how can we expect the Maryland Legislature to make such a determination — Answer: We Can’t!
3) Repeal the Law Enforcement Officers’ Bill of Rights (LEOBR).
If you want to ensure that you are never able to recruit qualified candidates to fulfill the role of law enforcement officer in your city or town repeal the Law Enforcement Officers Bill of Rights!
“The Law Enforcement Officers’ Bill of Rights (LEOBR or LEOBoR) is intended to protect American law enforcement personnel from investigation and prosecution arising from conduct during official performance of their duties and provides them with privileges based on due process additional to those normally provided to other citizens. It was first set forth in 1974, following Supreme Court rulings in the cases of Garrity v. New Jersey (1967) and Gardner v. Broderick (1968). It doesn’t prohibit police departments from subjecting officers to drug tests.”
It is easy to criticize the LEOBR, it appears to shield an officer from wrongdoing but look carefully at the words… provides them with privileges based on due process additional to those normally provided to other citizens… Based on due process… Intellectual honesty leads us to understand that the duties performed by a sworn law enforcement officer are not the duties performed by normal citizens. As such the courts have ruled that a law enforcement offer is permitted additional leeway in determining the character and performance of his duties. There are 10 specific things that the LEOBR provides. Here are the ones that appear to be the most important:
Law enforcement officers under investigation are entitled to have counsel or any other individual of their choice present at the interrogation.
Law enforcement officers cannot be threatened, harassed, or promised rewards to induce the answering of any question.
Law enforcement officers are entitled to a hearing, with notification in advance of the date, access to transcripts, and other relevant documents and evidence generated by the hearing and to representation by counsel or another non-attorney representative at the hearing.
Any “Right”-thinking American can immediately see the need to provide these protections to a law enforcement officer – Any “Left”-thinking American wants to do away with all protections and this should be a matter of great concern to all fair-minded Americans. It is not a blanket immunity, it just ensures due process. Tweak it — but do not eliminate it.
4) Give the people of Baltimore City the ability to govern the Baltimore City Police Department.
Now I must believe that this one was thrown in here just for laughs. Taken literally… Does this mean that every person in Baltimore must be contacted when there is an issue regarding a police matter…? Do we need to go to the poles every Tuesday to reconcile the city police blotter…? Really? Any good leader knows that a complex organization can only function with a clear “Chain of Command” with a leader at the top of the Chain. In Baltimore City this chain starts with the Mayor who allocates authority to the Chief of Police… others like the City Council and the City’s Attorney have been known to inject themselves into the action… So, if you don’t like the way the City Police in Baltimore are governed… change should start with the Mayor and maybe political parties… not the state legislature.
5) Take law enforcement out of schools
Before we legislate law enforcement out of schools — perhaps we should look back and understand why law enforcement was in the schools to begin with.
“Proponents of police in schools argue that police create safe spaces for students to learn and deter students from crime and other problematic behavior. … In every state, high school students are more likely than middle and elementary school students to attend a school with at least one police officer”.
Now critics argue that… “police in schools do little to deter crime and can criminalize students for behavioral issues that police are ill equipped to address”.
So, there are clearly two sides to this issue but the LWV has chosen to offer only one position – “Take Law Enforcement out of Schools.” No debate and no discussion regarding the value of having an armed officer in the school. If they are in fact a deterrent to more sinister things and they are removed — someone needs to be accountable – so be sure to legislate that into the solution.
In conclusion this discussion started with the positions taken by LWV who claim to be nonpartisan on their website but are clearly a left-wing arm of the Socialist Democrats. As further evidence of that claim I offer you the panelists for this Winter Workshop:

These are not bad people — just all likeminded and not everyone in the State of Maryland agrees with their positions. It sems that a nonpartisan well intentioned political activist organization that prides itself on looking to help women voters might just consider a person from the Right to debate these important issues. After all, “Diversity Is Our Strength” That should include political diversity as well.

This was the headline in the Military Times yesterday… Defense Secretary Orders 60-day Stand-Down to Confront Extremism in the Military…
Just two weeks in the Biden Administration and one week after he was confirmed the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin has issued an “All Activities” message that all branches of the military are…
“to conduct a 60-day stand-down on the issue of extremism in the military, prompted by the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and subsequent reports of both active-duty and former service members attending a rally calling to overturn the 2020 election and the riot that ensued.”
This comes on the heals of a report that the FBI was called in to vet the loyalty of the 25,000 National Guard troops called to duty to provide security for the inauguration of Joe Biden.
So, let us look at what is really happening here by starting with the definition of “Stand Down”.
Stand Down: “a relaxation of status of a military unit or force from an alert or operational posture… to go off duty b: to withdraw from a contest, a position of leadership, or a state of alert or readiness”
Stand downs are ordered somewhat routinely by individual units and their commanders across all branches of the military when that unit has some unusual or unexpected event occur. This is most often driven by an accident due to equipment or a training failure and the Commander calls a halt to all activities until the root cause of the problem can be determined and corrected. This is conducted at the unit level, could be a Company, Battalion or Brigade… a single Ship or a fleet of ships… a single aircraft or an entire squadron of planes… or perhaps a combination of all these types of units who are ready to respond to a call for help from beleaguered US personnel in Benghazi, Libya but are told to “STAND DOWN”.
It was just this week that we heard our military leaders say we are at risk for a nuclear war with China or Russia… North Korea has started to fire missiles again, freedom of navigation exercises in the Taiwan Straits are being challenged by China, Russian fighters are buzzing our ships in the Black Sea … is this really a good time to stand down?
Never in the history of the US military has the entire organization been told to stand down while an official witch hunt is conducted to see if there are extremists serving in the military. Now keep in mind that so far no one has offered up a definition of how the military defines “extremism”.
Extremism in action
I think it would be fair to say that most people in the military today are extremists when compared to the rest of society. This is an all-volunteer military! It is not driven by mass culture of society of today… It is in fact a culture that is driven by extreme patriotism for the country. Why else would theses patriots intentionally places themselves in harms way… to the point of possibly losing their life!
Since the US Military is a microcosm of society in general, men, woman, gay, trans, religious, atheist, clean and drug addicted… it is necessary to anticipate that there will be some members in uniform who hold extreme political positions even as they serve the country and the Constitution. However simply voting for a particular candidate or even making a political position known on social media does not make one an insurrectionist. It simply makes you part of “We the People” … who believe and support the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution. As for those few who might standout while serving — let the unit commanders do their jobs. They know how to deal with any kind of activities that interrupt the “Good Order and Discipline” of their units.
And if the bar is set so low that any deviation in thought or deed from the Administrations radical agenda results in the expulsion of service members for a lack of political conformity or failure to pass an ideological test, then I submit that 1. We need to return to mandatory conscription to keep the ranks filled and 2. We are in a great deal of danger. The US Military’s focus up till now has always been outward — If we are now looking inward we will not see the danger that world poses… and that will be a catastrophic failure on the part of the Administration.

While the Joe Biden administration focuses on the chaotic protest at the Capitol on January 6th, many of us are asking why the left had nothing to say all through 2020 as Black Lives Matter protests ravaged the Country.
Attempting to establish rule of law is one issue, but politically motivated witch hunts are another. The Establishment sat back and watched as over $1 billion in damage ravaged the country.
What did they do when “chaos” was at THEIR door? They used taxpayer funded police to stop it.
If only the same privileges were afforded to business owners all across the country.
On his first day in office Joe Biden used an executive order to cancel the Keystone Pipeline, a project resumed during the Trump administration. The pipeline was set to bring 830,000 barrels of oil down, PER DAY, from Canada to Nebraska by the year 2023. Those hopes are pushed back, at least for now.
Biden struck down the project in the name of environmentalism. I’m sure his supporters will be happy to know that the oil will now be moved through the trucking industry, or by coal and diesel powered trains. A huge win for them.
1,000 active workers and 10,000 projected jobs are expected to be officially destroyed in the coming weeks, with all active workers being suspended under the executive order.
If only we had a President that used his executive actions to help Americans, and not take their jobs away.
As you can see in the link above, the United Nations has a website directing migrants on how to move around the world. The website focuses on educating migrants on how to claim asylum, where to seek it, and with whom they can get what. This is the same United Nations that has allowed encouraged the COVID lock downs, devastating economies all over the entire world.
Millions in the first world are out of work, meaning that people in the third world whose economies rely on our own are failing. People are starving, and desperately seeking to find a place to earn a living. What they do not realize is that America is struggling to. We have an unemployment crisis of major proportions, and bringing in thousands of low skilled laborers to drag the market down will not help a single American. It will hurt Americans.
The United Nations has revealed itself to be an organization made by elitists to benefit elitists. Instead of helping to build stronger communities in the third world, the U.N. instead focuses on sending them to America.
Importing thousands of low skilled workers is not in the interest of any American worker, and shows the true nature of those in power. They don’t care about anybody, or anything. They only care about getting things cheaper.
They don’t care if it’s American families, or Honduran families working. Seeing that the U.N. has an enormous influence on American politics, I would say this is a huge problem.
We need to forget the one world government dreams of the U.N. and embrace a pro America approach to policy. Not enact policy based on benefiting the citizens of other nations, but our own. Seems amazing that we have to make this distinction, but it’s absolutely necessary in today’s world.
We need to use our political system to protect Americans. Plain and simple. The United Nations completely stands in the way of this objective. They wish to invade our Country not with troops, but with economic implosion.
With a globalist sponsored party now in control of the legislative and executive branches of government, it will surely be hard to combat this assault on our Country.
