FBI Director Chris Wray found himself confronted with uncomfortable questions about the bureau’s role in the January 6 protests while testifying before Congress on Tuesday.

In a hearing before the House Homeland Security Committee, Wray was grilled by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) about the FBI’s operational role in the January 6 protests that Democrats have been calling an “insurrection.”

“Did the FBI have confidential human sources on January 6, 2021?” Higgins asked Wray.

Wray dodged the question, feigning righteous indignation.

“As I’m sure you can appreciate, I have to be very careful about what I can say…about when we do or do not, where we have and have not used confidential human sources,” Wray began.

“But the suggestion that the FBI’s confidential human sources or FBI employees in someway instigated or orchestrated Jan 6th, that’s categorically false.”

“Did you have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters inside the Capitol on January 6 prior to the doors being opened?”

Wray again tried to pivot: “Again, I have to be very careful –“

Higgins immediately called out Wray’s refusal to directly answer his question.

“It should be a no!” he snapped. “Can you not tell the American people ‘no, we did not have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters positioned inside the Capitol on January 6’?”

Wray pushed back again, telling Higgins not to “read anything into” his “decision” not to share information about confidential sources.

This isn’t the first time Biden administration officials refused to answer whether the FBI had agents embedded among Trump supporters on Jan. 6.

In January, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was similarly stonewalled after asking Jill Sanborn, the Executive Assistant Director of the FBI’s National Security Branch, about the FBI’s use of confidential human sources on Jan. 6 and a cutout asset known as Ray Epps.

“Was Ray Epps a fed?” Cruz asked Sanborn, who repeatedly responded, “I cannot answer that question.”

Last October, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) confronted Attorney General Merrick Garland about the FBI’s role on January 6, but received similar non-answers.

“Were any of those people who broke glass and did damage to those doors working for the FBI or other federal law enforcement entities?” he asked.

Garland replied: “This is an ongoing criminal investigation and I am not at liberty to discuss.”

As Infowars has reported, the FBI did in fact have “confidential human sources” embedded among Trump supporters at the Capitol on January 6.

One of the most well-known was Ray Epps, an FBI asset who was caught on video on January 5 and 6 repeatedly calling for demonstrators to storm the Capitol and orchestrating breaches of the Capitol building.

One Jan. 6 political prisoner has even accused Epps of trying to “recruit” him to storm the Capitol.

Despite the factual details, The New York Times took it upon themselves to write a conspicuous puff piece about Epps after Revolver News exposed his prominent role in inciting the riot at the Capitol.

Former CIA Director John Brennan was confronted by an independent journalist in Texas over surveillance and torture programs he helped implement in the agency.

Journalist Derrick Broze approached Brennan about his agency’s controversial policies after he spoke at the World Affairs Council in Houston on Wednesday.

“What do you say to the critics who still care about America not being the police of the world and not doing rendition and torture and kidnapping Americans?” pressed Broze.

“I would say get your facts right. Because all the facts you’ve said are wrong,” Brennan replied.

As Broze continued asking about Brennan’s involvement in torture, drone, and surveillance programs, the former CIA chief was swarmed by security and led away from the scrutiny.

“You’re a war criminal, Brennan! You’re a war criminal! And the students need to know that. You approve torture — mass surveillance of Americans. And he continues to spread propaganda.”

A 2014 Senate report concluded torture sanctioned by the CIA between 2002-2007 was ineffective, “barbaric,” and “abhorrent.”

After former CIA contractor Edward Snowden exposed the federal governments unconstitutional mass surveillance programs in 2013, Brennan defended the practice as “important to American lives” despite the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) finding no instances of the program stopping a terrorist attack.

Brennan also went on to carry out unsanctioned drone strikes – some against American citizens – under Obama’s direction in numerous Middle Eastern and African countries while CIA Director.

Brennan was forced to apologize in 2014 for illegally surveilling Senate computers.

Brennan is now a contributor for MSNBC.

Leading up to Sam Bankman-Fried’s spectacular implosion – in which his firm FTX evaporated billions in wealth after the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange allegedly commingled client assets with his trading firm into a liquidity crunch – he became the sixth-largest donor in this year’s midterm election cycle, giving some $40 million to mostly Democratic candidates and causes.

According to Forbes, Bankman-Fried was second only to George Soros among billionaire donors to Democratic groups during the 2022 midterm election cycle.

FTX allegedly loaned Alameda Research – a trading firm founded by Bankman-Fried – roughly $10 billion in client assets, which has landed him under federal investigation by the SEC, CTFC, and the Justice Department – the latter of which already had been working on a months-long investigation, according to the Wall Street Journal. The CTFC, meanwhile, is tasked with regulating certain elements of the crypto markets – including digital assets that are as commodities, and crypto exchanges and clearinghouses.

In late September, Bankman-Fried admitted that his political donations were mostly to Democrats, and Republican recipients were ‘targeted’.

But it goes much deeper than that.

Bankman-Fried ‘heavily courted’ the CFTC, “and funded several key lawmakers charged with overseeing the agency, pouring cash into their campaign coffers,” as the Daily Caller notes.

The CFTC is charged with regulating certain elements of the crypto marketplace, including digital assets that are commodities as well as crypto exchanges and clearinghouses. The agency is overseen by the Senate and House Agriculture Committees, with the former tasked with approving CFTC commissioners nominated by the president.

The former FTX CEO personally donated to the Senate committee’s chairwoman, Democratic Michigan Sen. Debbie Stabenow, contributing over $20,000 to the Stabenow Victory Fund and $5,800 to her campaignfor Senate. Bankman-Fried donated roughly $6,000 to the committee’s ranking member, Republican Arkansas Sen. John Boozman, as well, and $5,800 to the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Commodities, Risk Management and Trade, Republican Montana Sen. John Hoeven. -Daily Caller

What’s more, a PAC founded by FTX executive Ryan Salme, American Dream Federal Action, spent over $1 million on Boozman during the 2022 election cycle, as well as more than $1 million on House Agriculture Committee member and Republican Minnesota Rep. Brad Finstad.

Bankman-Fried also donated $27 million to the Protect Our Future PAC, which primarily works to elect Democrats. It spent over $1 million towards Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH), a member of the House Agriculture Committee.

Another donation linked to members of the House Ag committee includes $200,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), headed by Chair Sean Patrick Maloney, and nearly $6,000 to Maloney himsself. He also gave $20,000 to the campaign and victory fund of Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), whose father worked for the NXIVM sex cult in the early 2000s, where he made $25,000 per month.

In addition to his campaign contributions to the lawmakers tasked with CFTC oversight, Bankman-Fried sought closer relations with the agency itself.

Bankman-Fried personally lobbied for legislation in the Senate Agriculture Committee that would grant the CFTC greater regulatory oversight over the crypto industry, according to Coindesk, and spent hundreds of thousandsof dollars lobbying the CFTC, SEC and members of Congress on the legislation.

The bill, known as the Digital Commodities Consumer Protection Act, which would grant the CFTC “jurisdiction to oversee the spot digital commodity market,” was introduced by Stabenow, Boozman, Booker and Republican North Dakota Sen. John Thune, three of whom are beneficiaries of Bankman-Fried’s donations.

For its lobbying team, FTX hired former Republican Rep. Mike Conaway, longtime chair of the House Agriculture Committee, and committee staffer Scott Graves to lobby lawmakers on crypto-related issues. -Daily Caller

Alex Jones has been ordered to pay a staggering $473 million in punitive damages to the families of Sandy Hook victims, in addition to the $975 million in compensatory damages ordered last month.

The latest judgment brings the total owed by Jones to $1.44 billion.

“The record clearly supports the plaintiffs’ argument that the defendants’ conduct was intentional and malicious, and certain to cause harm by virtue of their infrastructure, ability to spread content, and massive audience including the ïnfowarriors,” Judge Barbara Bellis wrote in her ruling, according to the Associated Press.

Lawyers for the families in October attempted to ask the judge for a $2.75 trillion punitive damages judgment arguing only “the highest possible punitive damages” would stop Jones from harming the families.
