Senator Rand Paul is calling for the people of the United States to defy the reinstatement of COVID tyranny. Paul went on to call for Americans to refuse to comply with anti-science mask mandates.
Senator Paul went on to say that he will defund government agencies who refuse to return to work.
Schools across our country have moved to reinstate mask mandates, and some universities have even moved to require COVID-19 vaccines. Paul says that he will support school choice options and also defund schools who refuse to return.

17 RINO Republicans sided with the Democrats in furthering a radical ‘green’ infrastructure deal. The deal is set to add another $1 Trillion to our National Debt.
The bill includes a provision to install alcohol monitors into every single newly made vehicle in America. Among many other tyrannical and ridiculous measures, this bill is projected to cost $2 Trillion MORE than the $1.2 they are claiming.
Only $109 Billion of the total $1.2 Trillion would go to actual roads and bridges. Only $73 Billion would go to our desperately failing power grid.
$15 Billion would go electric vehicle manufacturers to build electric vehicle infrastructure and provide electric buses for cities and schools.
Tesla, the top electric manufacturer in the country, was not considered for the project because they ‘do not hire Union workers’. You can imagine how effective these buses will be.
The bill also includes funding for some broad, baseless, seemingly made up terms. $1 Billion for ‘reconnecting communities’… whatever that means. It also includes $47 Billion for ‘resilience’.
Keep in mind that every dollar being spent by these fools in another dollar that this country goes into debt. The government doesn’t make… It simply takes.

First, let me express my admiration for your achievements.
You arrived as an immigrant from a third world country, and yet you’ve co-founded four biotech and pharma companies and you serve as a board member on at least seven more.
You hold highly coveted professorships at Harvard University, and you were the editor-in-chief of your field’s academic journal. You were personally appointed by President Obama to a commission at the top of your field.
Your company’s product, which maps an individual’s genome to identify their genetic variants for medical treatments, is visionary. You partner with at least two of China’s top medical schools, and your company is supported by China’s largest diagnostic testing company.
On top of all this, you’re a partner in a pharma/biotech venture capital firm.
Sir, you are the very embodiment of the American Dream. I would be proud to accomplish just one of your many achievements.
Alas, I am simply a grown man in my basement, wearing a SpongeBob shirt and listening to Mötley Crüe.
Now to the problem. For a year I’ve had the opportunity to engage with the employee you sent to follow me around on my social media pages and harass me. How do I know you sent this person, and they’re not just volunteering their time?
One, because volunteers move on when the work is not fulfilling. Like the guy who said he was from Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism (RISJ). He contacted me to ask about my experience being “fact checked” when I said herd immunity was achieved in May 2020. He disappeared when I publicly posted his message (name removed, of course), revealed he was actually a researcher for Oxford University, and further revealed that RISJ is funded by Facebook and Google.
Two, because many years ago as a staffer in a DC lobbying association, I was told to monitor “troublesome” individual Americans. It was a thankless (and bizarre) job, but it was money.
Likewise, your employee has been nothing if not totally dedicated to his mission. Every time I point out how your Nitwit Cartel has lied about COVID-19, he dutifully jumps in on me, and sometimes from multiple fake accounts. This employee takes initiative, following me around on my social media pages and posting senseless messages on my personal Facebook page, Instagram, MeWe, Locals, and Twitter. I even caught him snooping at my LinkedIn profile! Namaste!
But here’s the problem. Your employee is coming off as crazy. For a long time, he has been reduced to leaving babbling appeals to authority and ad hominem attacks. Here’s a recent one:
“Matt McBride is no expert. He is giving such false information. He is endangering people who listen to his garbage. Please don’t take anything seriously that he speaks of. He knows nothing about vaccines, or epidemiology, or therapeutics….he is literally endangering people.”
Okay, so… my job title is literally “senior health policy expert.” I get paid to do this. But that aside, what specific false information am I giving? Where is the counter-argument here?
Here’s another:
“We have not yet reached herd immunity. Your assumptions are flawed. You still haven’t taken into account the variables and the change with Delta. You are harming people who read this nonsense.”
Okay… but again, how specifically am I wrong? What specific assumptions are flawed? I explained some (not all) of the variables for R0 in the article… so what variables have I missed that discredit what I wrote? Again, where is the actual argument here?
Don’t get me wrong – crazy can be entertaining, but it has to stay fresh. Even “Starship Troopers” got a little stale by the fifth time I watched it, if you know what I mean.
I do appreciate that a man of your stature has found it necessary to budget for the employee staff time needed to discredit me. This guy is a senior manager in one of your biotech firms, and his staff time can’t be cheap.
Unfortunately, you’re not getting your money’s worth. His responses are fluff and do nothing to discredit what I’ve been saying about the lies you and your kind have been pushing. To put it simply, you are paying to make me look good.
Honestly, is a ranting, babbling fool the best a man of your vast achievements can send against me? You are hooked into the world’s elite; can you not find somebody a little smarter to harass me? I hate to think you hold me with such little regard that the most you’re willing to spend on is for a guy who couldn’t win an argument against a goldfish.
But let’s be real here. After working under many people like you (and way more powerful – people like you are a dime a dozen in DC), I know personally the disdain with which you elitists hold us commoners. My very lack of social status is what makes you not take me seriously, and trust me, I use that. It’s also what lets me run out to check my mailbox in the middle of the night in my underwear, but I digress.
I know COVID-19 has made you even wealthier, and the longer you keep your scam going, the wealthier you and your buddies get. Your friends at China’s largest diagnostic testing company must appreciate all that you do to keep the money flowing to them.
All I ask is to please consider investing some of your vast COVID-19 profits into sending a more experienced, or at least more entertaining, employee against me.
Just please don’t spend any more money to discredit me if you’re not even going to try.

I became suspicious of what I now know to be the COVID Cult in the early spring months of 2020. That’s when I started seeing statements such as this pop up on the internet:
“In most cases, herd immunity is not achieved without an effective vaccine. For COVID-19, the percentage of the population that needs to be infected to achieve herd immunity is estimated to be between 70% and 90%…Those who believe “COVID-19 parties” are examples of how herd immunity can be achieved are misguidedly thinking that the virus just needs to run its course and it will be gone.”
That was written by Dr. David G. Hill, MD. MD, as in Medical Doctor. It’s even still up on the website of the American Lung Association, which is far from some fringe group.
I’ve never judged the average guy for not understanding public health principles, but that was written by a medical doctor.
With statements like that, I would be happy to dismiss Dr. Hill as a lone quack saying quacky things. But I saw the same theme popping up from medical institutions: “Herd immunity has never been achieved without a vaccine!”
Even on the surface it’s an aburd statement. Disease outbreaks are as old as humanity, and the first rudimentary vaccines are only 225 years old. Just look at this (really neat!) slideshow. How did any of the outbreaks in the 900 years prior to the first vaccine ever come to an end if “herd immunity is impossible without a vaccine”? It’s because, contrary to Dr. Hill’s surprising assertion, viruses do “just run their course and are gone” unless they can find a reservoir in which to reproduce without creating disease.
And let’s just ignore how the very concept of herd immunity was established in the 1930s by observing pediatric measles cases… three decades before the first effective measles vaccine was created in the 1960s.
Dr. Hill’s statement that “herd immunity is estimated to be between 70% to 90%” is just a single example of a common yet wildly inaccurate narrative moving around the press. Dr. Hill’s statement (and the many like it) is totally, completely wrong. Herd immunity is far from “an estimate.”
You see, there’s an actual formula for the herd immunity threshold that pins down the exact percentage. And it’s surprisingly simple, too.
1-(1/R0)
That’s it. That’s the herd immunity threshold formula. It’s as difficult as a practice problem in a 7th grade algebra class. R0 is the base reproduction ratio, which is just the average number of people one infected person can infect. For COVID-19, R0 is 2.5; one person can infect 2.5 other people on average. For flu, R0 averages 1.4. Measles is highly infectious at between 12 and 18.
Now lets plug in 2.5 for R0.
1-(1/2.5) = 0.6.
State it as a percentage: and you get the COVID-19 herd immunity threshold: 60%.
Not 70%. Not 90%. Not “we think it’s between” or “it could be.” The COVID-19 herd immunity threshold is inarguably 60%.
You’ll notice that nowhere in that insanely simple formula is there a variable for “vaccine.”
That’s because herd immunity has nothing to do with vaccines. Herd immunity is only affected by R0, the average number of people one person can infect. An effective vaccine can lower that number, as can medications and the cultural, social, and genetic predispositions of a population. The number will be higher in denser urban areas and lower in sparsely populated rural areas. Countries with better transportation networks will have higher R0s.
But once you pin down R0, herd immunity can be scratched out on the back of an envelope. And the higher the R0, the faster the virus is moving through the population.
Certainly we’ve seen a lot of lies, half-truths, and incoherent contradictions from the CDC (logo below) and its ilk, but it’s hard to say if Dr. Hill is lying here.
For over 50 years, the CDC has guided America smack into some serious BS.
As a physician, Dr. Hill is an expert in patient care, not public health. It’s quite likely he just doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Unfortunately, Western society mistakes “physician” for “omniscient unquestionable god,” which has tragically contributed to a lot of the COVID mistakes we’ve seen in the last two years.
The next time somebody tells you only a vaccine can stop COVID, ask them what the herd immunity threshold formula is. Chances are they’ve never even heard of it.

Four years of working within HHS/ASPR, the federal government’s pandemic response authority, taught me an unbreakable rule of a true novel pandemic: novel pandemic viruses overflow hospitals.
Stated another way, there’s no novel pandemic virus if the hospitals aren’t experiencing what we call a “pandemic surge event.” This is the point at the top of the infection curve (the point of herd immunity), when cases reach their maximum and the hospitals are in danger of overflowing.
So the CDC (logo below) and their media ilk have been telling us about how the “delta variant” is highly infectious (it’s not) causing hospitals to overflow.
For 50 years, CDC has guided America through its greatest health threats.
The only problem: It’s not true. There’s no pandemic surge event. The hospital occupancy rates prove this. Here’s a handy link to a site where you can check hospital occupancies anywhere in the country.
Zoom in on the map to your area. You’ll see some hospitals in red, which are over 90% occupancy. That’s normal. Hospitals try to keep their occupancy rates between 85% to 90%, which is their “financial sweet spot.” Chances are these hospitals are in your urban area. If you check these urban hospitals on the weekend, most will be in red.
But look at the other hospitals. Various shades of green- and blue-colored avatars showing most hospitals are under 90% occupancy. Quite a few are under 60% occupancy. Some of these under-occupied hospitals are a few blocks away from the hospitals coded in red.
That doesn’t happen in a pandemic. In a true pandemic, all of those hospitals would be red. You would be able to see the hospitals turn red starting in the cities, and then spreading outwards in a radial fashion. That’s how viral pandemics spread. (Bacterial outbreaks follow the lines of transportation.)
Thousands of people from across the globe are invading our southern border many with the COVID virus and the Republicans in Congress are mysteriously silent. On the other hand, Cory Bush, a Communist member of the House of Representatives from Missouri is standing on the Capital step to ensure that the policy of defrauding property owners of the rent that they are due from others is blocked from being paid.
See the difference here — the Communist is actively pursuing her goals while the Republicans are no where to be seen. Is it any wonder that the young people of America think communism does not sound so bad — its because that is the only political sound they are hearing in America today.
Where are the Republicans?
I am now told that I need to wear a mask when in my own house with my grandchildren.
This, after I was told on July 4th that the pandemic was over! So why is this happening — perhaps it is happening because the Biden Administration has permitted thousands upon thousands of illegal aliens to enter our country with COVID 19 and the Delta Variant and then releases them into the interior. The media is telling us all about the precautions that DHS is taking — giving COVID tests and making sure that all who enter are now wearing a mask. Would that be the same mask, you know the kind from the Walgreens that Dr. Fauci said was worthless because you can sure bet that the US Government is not springing for N95 masks for these spreaders.
Where are the Republicans?
The CDC this week announced that they have given themselves the power to declare that there is no long any private ownership of property in the United States of America.
The completely illegal NO EVICTION Mandate is being extended by decree of a Doctor who just a few months ago was teaching medical student about HIV … not COVID 19 — HIV! When asked where she derives the power to declare that the US has eliminated rent duly owed to the people from whom the property is rented she, along with other freely admit they assumed it — Congress did not pass a law — they simply assumed it! And not a peep out of the Republicans on the Hill.
Where are the Republicans?
Where they should be is lined up one behind the other in the House of Representative and in the Senate pounding on the lectern demanding answers from the Administration. Asking why after all the effort expended by the American people to crush this virus and return our country to normalcy is this Administration flying illegal aliens all around the country, using military assets to support the movements and spreading the virus among us again.
Where they should be is standing on the steps of the Capital demanding answers from the Administration as to why law abiding Americans cannot collect the rent on the property that they have leased to others.
The practice is in direct violation of the findings of the US Supreme Court — so why aren’t the Republicans pounding the table making sure that it is understood that the law of the land is being violated by Joe Biden and his cabinet – full stop.
Where are the Republicans?
They are busy sitting on Nancy Pelosi’s Kangaroo Commission and crying (make sure the camera angle is right) over the events of Jan 6th. They are busy writing emails, thousands of emails, asking all of us for money so they can return to Congress in ’22. They are busy negotiating trillion dollar infrastructure bills with the Socialist Democrats. Bills that contain provisions that will further tax the middle class with things like a milage tax — that’s right, for every mile you drive your car you will be taxed. Don’t think they can do it — check with you dealer and see if that type of information isn’t already being stored in your cars computer. All it takes is the government to tell dealerships, oil change businesses and even your backyard garage that the law now requires them to download and report this information to the Department of Transportation — you can bet they will comply, or Mayor Pete will be around to shut them down because that is how the Socialist Dems roll.
Where are the Republicans — asleep at the switch? Dozing in their offices? In the gym? Putting on their best party manners so the Socialist Dems won’t call them racist or xenophobes? Out purchasing a new supply of face masks because Pelosi says they will be arrested if they appear in the halls of the Capital without one. In the class of 2020 it appeared that there might be some hope for Republicans …
Marjorie Taylor-Green, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gates, Madison Cawthorn and even Thomas Massie of KY… They were going to take on the system but faded quickly. I don’t see them on the Capital steps or pounding the podium in the well of the House — they have failed the American people and the election of ’22 is only 16 months away.
It is time for all Republicans to push back and push back hard on this Administration much like Governor Ron DeSantis did this week. It was clearly civil disobedience with our being uncivil. “DO YOUR JOB BIDEN” the message was clear and unequivocal.
Push back – pound the table – RESIST or we will all wake up the morning after the election and nothing will have changed.

Dr. Francis Collins, Director of the NIH, is lying. Imagine that.
On Fox News he said that in the last few weeks the “delta variant” has gone from 13,000 infections to 40,000 infections.
This is a terrific bit of information. Dr. Collins has given us the information we need to do the math and figure out what the delta variant really is.
Let’s say “a few weeks” is 14 days. It’s a guess, but it’s a very conservative guess: every extra day means the delta variant is that much less of a threat.
DR. FRANCIS COLLINS
13k to 40k infections in 14 days lets us figure out the doubling period. 13k to 26k means it doubled 1 time. 26k to 52k would be two doublings, so 26k to 40k is about another one-half of a doubling period. Thus, the “delta variant” doubled 1.5 times in those 14 days.
If the virus doubled 1.5 times over 14 days, that means the doubling period for the “delta variant” is 9.3 days. Remember, the original COVID-19 strain had a doubling period of 5.4 days.
Already, we’ve uncovered the first lie: the “delta variant” is not more infectious that the original strain, it’s actually 42% less infectious than the original COVID-19 strain.
The infectious period of COVID is 14 days, the same for most coronaviruses. If a person is infectious for 14 days and the person infects one other person every 9.3 days, then on average a person infected with the “delta variant” infects 1.5 other people. We call this number of secondary infections per person the “base reproduction ratio” or “base reproduction rate.” Sometimes it’s called the “rate of spread.” Whatever you call it, public health science refers to the base reproduction ratio is denoted as R0.
Therefore, R0 for the delta variant is 1.5.
You know what common virus has an average R0 of 1.4, with a normal range between 0.9 to 1.9? The flu.
The delta variant is just another mild flu strain that’s sending older people to the hospital.
When you consider that CDC admitted the PCR test can’t distinguish between flu and COVID, and that this delta variant has the profile of an average flu virus… well, if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, then it’s a duck, and “delta” is the flu.
Of course, if it sounds like a quack, then it’s Dr. Fauci and his henchmen.
Is it possible that the delta variant is a COVID strain? Yes, of course it’s possible. But if it is, then it’s nowhere near to being the “highly infectious virus” the COVID Cult is claiming.
So either way, Dr. Francis Collins is lying. Either he’s lying when he says the delta variant is COVID, or he’s lying when he says delta is “highly infectious.”
Edit: So it’s the next day after writing this, and I’ve realized I need to clarify a few things. First, flu does not have an average infectious period of 14 days. Flu’s infectious period averages six days. The second mistake is that R0 for influenza should be lower than average during the summer months. This doesn’t necessarily mean my conclusion is wrong, because those variables balance off each other; infectious period up, R0 down, you get a similar result.
What we need to do is to see if “delta is flu” remains a reasonable theory by adjusting the infectious period and R0 to check if we can hit the magic doubling period of 9.3 days. If you move the infectious period from 6 to 8 days and lower R0 to 1.1, you get a doubling period of 7.2 days, which is closer to 9.3 days. Move the infectious period from 6 days to 10 days, and the doubling period becomes 9.1.
Now the question becomes, “Is it reasonable to increase the infectious period by 67%?” If this “delta variant” were occurring in the winter months, I would say it’s not reasonable at all. But in the summer months people interact a lot more. You only have to go to the beach and stand in line at an ice cream stand (which my family did several times last week) to see that it’s very possible to make contact with more than twice as many people (i.e., double R0) in the summer months than in the winter months.

You can see Biden lure the girl in by waving to her relentlessly. Biden has a history of being unable to ignore small children in the room.
This is sadly just another example of the steep mental decline that is evident on a daily basis with this fading President. Every day seems to be harder than the last.
He is truly struggling to maintain himself in front of the public. We see that with his inability to keep away from children.
What a disgusting individual. Who would do something like that to anybody other than their own kid?
The Biden Administration is an unmitigated disaster. Blatant, admitted violations of the Constitution are occurring on a regular basis. Just this week, despite a ruling that detrmined that the CDC overstepped its power by ordering an ‘eviction moratotium’, the CDC decided to reinstate it anyway.
These people are flaunting the rule of law. Joe Biden, of course, is supposed to be running the show. As we can see, he probably isn’t contributing much at this point.
We need America First members of Congress that can move to impeach this disgusting man, and replace the awful people that his cronies have appointed to run our lives.
